Abstract:

The concept of physical layer network coding (PNY) has been investigated for several years and several technical difficulties have been properly solved. Compared to network layer network coding, PNY can further reduce the transmission time of the data and improve the efficiency of the communication channel. However, there will be new security problems caused by this technique. In this talk, we will introduce the basic concept of PNY, how to turn it into a practical approach in the real world, and the potential to solve the security problems.
