Overview
Hosted by the College of Information Technology. Supporting organizations include
the Information Technology Council of the Charlotte Chamber of Commerce,
NCEITA (North Carolina Electronics and Information Technology Association) and InfraGard.
The rapid advancement of technology, especially the widespread use of information and communication technology, has significantly increased interdependencies among diverse business sectors as well as government agencies, and the ever-changing nature of international geo-politics, business environments and customer expectations is constantly creating new pressures on business organizations and governments to improve their systems security against possible malicious attacks.
The focus of this workshop is on time-tested best practices, approaches and strategies for improving the security of organizations’ information systems. It will also offer an excellent networking opportunity for the attendees.
Intended Audience
Business continuity practitioners, government administrators, IT managers, information security professionals, software developers, system administrators, and IT students.

- Bear left on Broadrick Blvd.
